When using a Raspberry Pi HAT, supporting the opposite side from the header is key to preventing short circuits and damage to the HAT as well as the Raspberry Pi itself. This set of tall HAT hardware gives your HAT support with a between board height of 12.7mm / 1/2”. Included are two nylon 4/40 nuts, two 4/40 x 1/2″ nylon standoffs, and two 4/40 x 1/4″ screws.
