Need to add a few push buttons to your project? This simple breakout board is the perfect solution! The board hosts 4 mini pushbuttons in a relatively tight proximity and is the easiest way to add a strip of buttons to your project. These mini pushbuttons are available in a latching and momentary version, making these quite versatile. The PCB has two M3 compatible mounting holes and an easy to solder 2.54mm pitch header on one end. Since the latching pushbuttons will flip their switch state when rotated, we have also added a solder jumper to the bottom that can be cut and reversed in the event a switch is installed backwards relative to the others.
We think these work great for navigating an on screen menu or as a part of a larger control panel. Any standard 12mm tactile button will fit, though some variants with alignment pins may need to have the pins trimmed (easily done with flush cutters).
