Description
The DB9 connector has been widely utilized in computer hardware, networking equipment, and industrial machinery. It is commonly used for RS232 and RS485 Serial connections, but is also useful for connecting large numbers of wires through a panel or box. It will mate to any standard DB9 Cable with a male connector.
Each of the 9 pins in the connector can be soldered to using the solder cups on the back. We recommend using a small piece of heat shrink tubing over each connection for additional support and protection.
