Getting the correct logic level for sensitive components is critical. The wrong logic voltage can easily damage your microcontroller or sensor. This level shifting chip lets you connect 3V and 5V devices together safely without worry! It is ideally suited for up converting 3V logic to 5V logic but can work in both directions. When powered with 5V it will detect 3V logic without issue; Power it using 3V and it will handle 5V logic on the input pins.
