This 5mm Yellow LED is fairly bright, and easy to work with. While it is called “Yellow”, like most in this color range, it is definitely an orange yellow. The forward voltage is 1.8V with a current consumption of 20mA. To use this LED you will need a current limiting resistor; this will vary depending on your input voltage. Typically with a 5V supply we recommend a 180 ohm resistor for a single LED. Alternatively you can also use a 20mA current limiter (linked below)
