Description

Want to run an irrigation project without connecting it to a constant source of water pressure? This small self priming water pump moves quite a bit of water and can generate enough pressure for a small drip irrigation system. The pump is equipped with 1/8” compatible barbs (similar to those found on most popular drip irrigation systems). Unlike most of our water pumps, this one is not to be submerged; instead, it features an inlet port on the bottom and outlet port on the side.

The pump can run on anything between 3 and 12VDC and has large solderable tabs. The positive tab is marked with a red dot to ensure the pump is spinning the correct direction. The no load current draw is approximately 1.75 Amps at 12V and pumping water without backpressure it quickly climbs to 3 Amps, so a fairly decent power supply or battery will be required. Voltages in excess of 7.5V should not be run for long durations. Three mounting holes on the pump assembly allow for it to be mounted with self taping screws.
