Description
The Raspberry Pi Zero 2W is a lightweight version of the always popular Raspberry Pi Single Board Computer. The Pi Zero 2W is perfectly suited for IoT and automation applications with its smaller form factor and lower power consumption. It is best used where a Pi Pico W microcontroller doesn’t have the processing power, but a conventional Pi is too large or requires too much power.
This new version 2 features a much more powerful 1GHz quad-core 64-bit CPU with 512MB of RAM resulting in 40% more performance in single-threaded applications and 5x times more performance with multi-threaded applications than the previous single-core Raspberry Pi Zero W! On top of that, the Pi Zero 2W has all of the normal Pi connections you would expect: WiFi, Bluetooth LE, USB micro ports (1 for USB, 1 for power), a micro-HDMI for video output, and an unpopulated 40 pin GPIO compatible with all HATs. There is also a mini camera connector which can be used to connect any compatible Raspberry Pi Camera.
