Description
Looking for a sturdy, 2 wheel drive chassis to build your first self navigating robot? This aluminum chassis is perfect for the job! The kit is easy to assemble and offers a ton of different mounting points for your microcontroller, servos, sensors, and other additions.
The chassis is anodized aluminum, and features many pre-tapped mounting holes. The holes are tapped with an M3 thread, meaning the chassis works well with our M3 Nylon Standoff Set. Mounting holes are compatible with most Arduino and other popular boards. The chassis itself may be purple or rose in color.
The kit includes two 3-6V gearmotors, two wheels, a ball caster wheel, and all of the hardware to assemble it.
Note: For Arduino, BBC micro:bit, and Raspberry Pi applications: we recommend using a 4 x AA battery pack. Most Arduino and Raspberry Pi motor controllers require a minimum of 4.5V to function (including the recommended products above). For Raspberry Pi we recommend a separate power source for the Raspberry Pi capable of supporting the Pi’s power needs.
