Description
Flanged bearings are given the name due the flange on the outer race of the bearing. Due to the flange, they don’t require the same high tolerances that a pressed in bearing does to remain seated. The flange also reduces axial movement when the bearing is side loaded and will typically perform better when vibration is present.
This specific bearing measures 16mm in diameter with an 18mm diameter flange. The center bore is 5mm and the bearing is 5mm thick. The F625ZZ is made of stainless steel (chrome steel) and features grease lubricated ball bearings.
