Description
This powerful gearmotor is ideal for things that need to move slowly, or require a lot of torque. The motor utilizes a worm gear drive and a significant gear reduction set to produce a very slow, very high torque rotation. At 12V it will make approximately 1 rotation every minute (1 RPM).
The motor can be reversed, but cannot be rotated by moving the shaft due to the worm gear assembly. Meaning, even under tension, there will not be any movement unless the motor itself is rotated. The metal construction makes this quite tough, and suitable for high torque applications.
