Description
This infrared sensor is tuned to 38KHz – perfect for receiving commands from TV remotes and most other infrared based remote controls. The sensor runs on 2.5 – 5.5VDC so it works great with any microcontroller or single board computer with a digital input!
The sensor does not do any of the decoding, it simply translates the infrared signal to an electronic signal for your microcontroller or single board computer to decode. For pinout information and a guide to using the sensor, check out the Resources Tab!
