Description
Unlike most Electret Microphones, this version is water resistant. The microphone measures 5mm across and 2mm tall and can be used to monitor sound in the range of human hearing (20 – 20KHz). It uses a small vibrating element to convert sound waves into an electric signal. This signal measures a few millivolts from peak to peak and will require an op-amp to boost the signal to something useable.
Wires are attached to the back of the microphone and extend approximately 100mm.
