This ultra-compact limit switch is perfect for use in small machinery, robots, and other projects where a momentary switch is needed. They work like any other momentary switch and provide both the normally open and normally closed contacts. This specific limit switch has a small metal lever; the lever acts like a spring and protects the physical switch from repeated impacts.
The Mini SPDT Limit Switch has breadboard / perfboard compatible pins at 5.08mm pitch. This pitch means the pins will hit every second through hole in a normal perfboard/breadboard. It also has two mounting holes, allowing you to securely attach the switch to your project enclosure or other surface. The contacts have a rating of 1A at 125VAC, making it ideal for many applications.
