Description
A solder sucker or de-soldering pump is used to assist in removing through hole components from circuit boards. A solder sucker is always used in conjunction with a soldering iron and makes disassembly or repair a lot easier. This giant solder sucker will make short work of clearing out large amounts of solder. The tool can be easily cleaned and will save from consuming excessive amounts of solder wick while trying to remove components. These are a must have for any soldering tool kit or electronics workbench.
To use the solder sucker: lock the plunger in the down position, heat up the solder to be removed with your soldering iron, get the tip of the solder sucker as close as possible, and press the button! The molten solder is then sucked away, releasing your part. Once the part is removed, further cleanup can be done using Solder Wick.
