Description
Need to help your camera see in the dark? Many basic analog security cameras and even the Raspberry Pi NoIR Camera and Raspberry Pi NoIR Wide Angle Camera can use infrared LEDs to help see at night without illuminating the area in visible light. These work at 850nm – outside of the human vision range – and make excellent additions to wildlife, security, or other night vision projects. They can also be used for other projects where bright infrared light sources are required.
The LED is mounted on an aluminum heatsink PCB and has two solder pads for the anode and two solder pads for the cathode.
Please Note: Despite being out of the human visible range of light, these are incredibly bright and should not be looked at directly when switched on.
