Potentiometers, often referred to as “pots,” are essential components in the world of electronics. They function as adjustable resistors, enabling precise control over the flow of electrical current within a circuit. This 10K ohm linear potentiometer is unique compared to most – it has a SPST switch built into the start of the rotational axis. The switch is broken out into two additional pins and can be wired inline with the wiper to cut the signal from the pot altogether, or wired separately. The pot is designed to be mounted in a panel or enclosure and features easy to use solder lugs. The potentiometer is rated at 1/5th Watt and has 300 degrees of rotation.
