Description
This high-powered gear motor is a 12V DC motor attached to a strong metal gearbox. The gearbox reduces the motor output shaft speed to approximately 130 RPM – perfect for applications where very slow rotation is required! Additionally, a rotary encoder is attached to the back of this board, allowing this motor to be precisely controlled. The encoder outputs 11 pulses per rotation and can be read like a conventional rotary encoder.
The motor and gearbox measure 25mm in diameter and 62.2mm long excluding the output shaft. The 4mm diameter output shaft has a flatted side, making this a breeze to use with 4mm hub adapters. Two M3 mounting holes are tapped into the gearbox housing on the motor face for mounting.
