When the 16×2 Character LCD just doesn’t have enough space step up to the 20×4 Character LCD! 4 lines and 20 characters per line for those really long messages! This basic version does not include the 0.100″ header or the trimmer potentiometer.

For those looking to avoid using 6 digital pins, we carry an excellent Character Backpack by Adafruit Industries that allows a character display to operate over I2C or SPI!
