This 2×20 connector features a plastic shroud and is perfect for your next wire to board connection. The connector is designed to be used with older IDE hard drive / CD Drive cables (remember those?) Well these cables happen to be a handy, inexpensive way to get a lot of connections from one board to another.  The connector is configured in a two rows of 20 pins and features male pins with standard breadboard pitch pins (2.54mm  / 0.1″) centers. The plastic shroud has a keyed slot to prevent reverse insertion of cable.
