Small DC Motors are a staple of basic electronics, robotics, automation, and numerous other applications. If you are into taking apart consumer devices, you will have seen these types of motors in various sizes in all sorts of things!
This simple DC Motor is ideal for experimenting. The motor is designed to run with a DC voltage between 3 and 6VDC and features large tabs for wires on the back. The tabs can be soldered to wires or even attached with alligator clips or other types of prototyping cables.
The output shaft of the motor measures 2mm in diameter, making these compatible with many of the gears in our assorted gear sets as well as all of our other 2mm Shaft Couplers, and other hardware.
