Breakaway headers are one of the essential components to have around – these are used on just about everything. They are great for connecting things together, soldering to perf-boards, sockets for wires or break-away headers, plugging into solderless breadboards, and so on.

These headers have a 2.54mm pitch (breadboard compatible) and are 40 pins in length. The headers can be easily snapped between the pins to create a section with the correct number of pins for your application.

The headers measure 11.25mm tall (overall) with the pins measuring 5.5mm on the long side. These are also available in White, Blue, Red, Green and Yellow! If you need longer pins we also have these available in a longer version.
