Get your robot moving with these awesome low cost wheels! The wheels are a two part assembly consisting of a plastic wheel and a nice squishy tire. Overall, the wheel and tire measure 43mm in diameter with a thickness of 17.5mm. The wheel is designed to press-fit onto a 3mm D shaft – the same shaft found on all of our N20 Micro Metal Gearmotors. Custom shafts can also be made by filing our 3mm shaft to have a flat spot on one side.

The color choice is white on purpose – on the inside of the wheel the white plastic and the black rubber are used to create an alternating pattern. With the addition of a reflectance sensor, you now have a simple wheel encoder without having to mount anything additional to the driveshaft!
