Description
This small switching step-up regulator (also known as a boost regulator) accepts a wide input voltage of 2-24VDC. Input voltage is provided to the board via the two input solder pads or a USB micro connector. The USB connection makes this a very convenient option for applications where a higher voltage is needed when only USB (5V) power is available.
The output is adjustable between 5V and 26V using a multi-turn potentiometer. Turning it clockwise will increase the voltage. On first use, you may need to turn it several times to get the potentiometer into the correct adjustment range. Output voltage is available on the “OUT” pads, which are easily solderable.
The regulator can achieve 93% efficiency, however this does drop off as the output voltage is increased. A maximum input current of 1A is recommended.
