Description
This small switching step-up (or boost) voltage regulator efficiently generates 5V from input voltages as low as 1V. It can provide up to 1A at 5V (1.5A for short periods of time). These regulators are ideal for situations where your battery or supply voltage are lower than your device voltage. The regulator can operate at up to 96% efficiency as the input voltage nears the output voltage.
