Soldering isn’t something to be scared of – when you have the right tools and materials! This high-quality solder wire features a Sn60Pb40 (60% tin, 40% lead) composition and a 0.031″ diameter, making it ideal for soldering surface-mount devices (SMDs) and other intricate components. It is very easy to work with, flows well, has a low melting point, and has a water washable flux core to clean the points being soldered. The flux is “No Clean” meaning it is stable after soldering and does not need to be cleaned up – but being water washable, no harsh chemicals are required if you do.
This spool has 225 grams of solder (roughly 1/2 lb) and should last the average user quite some time. If you are looking for a smaller amount, we also carry a 10 gram tube as well!
