Description
Getting power to your breadboard can be a bit annoying sometimes – that’s where this easy to use breadboard power supply comes in. The board is specifically designed to fit standard and half-sized solderless breadboards and provides a variety of output voltages directly to the power rails of your breadboard without the need for additional messy jumper wires.
The supply can be powered via either a USB-B “Printer Cable” or a common USB micro cable and an all too common USB power supply that you likely have countless of in a drawer. An On/Off switch allows your project to be powered down easily when adjusting wiring or making other changes and a bright indicator LED illuminates whenever the board is switched on.
Power can be selected for both power rails on the breadboard via included jumpers. The right side can be set to 3.3V, 1.5V, or unconnected while left side with the option for adjustable 5-15VDC or unconnected. The unconnected option is handy if you are using a bus rail for another purpose. Additionally, in the case that you need to use the adjustable 5-15V and a stable 5V supply, there is a header on the top of the board providing 5V (but a jumper wire is required to get it to the board).
The adjustable breadboard power supply ships fully assembled – no soldering required. A must have for every workbench!
