Description
Accelerometers are a great way of detecting orientation, impacts, and most obvious of all, acceleration. This version of the Analog Devices triple axis accelerometer has a +/-3G range, ideal for lower “G” applications. Each axis is output as an analog voltage based on 3.3V logic level and is radiometric (0V being -3G, 3.3V being +3G, and 1.65V being 0G). With an analog sensor of this range, we do recommend using a higher resolution Analog to Digital Converter such as Adafruit’s 12-Bit or 16-Bit ADC.
Features
- -3g to +3g range
- 2 x 2mm (0.08″) mounting holes
- 3.3 and 5VDC compatible
- 0.1uF capacitors for a 50 Hz bandwidth
