Description

An alligator clip is a small electrical connector that is commonly used in electronics and electrical work. It consists of a spring-loaded metal clip with serrated jaws that can be opened and closed by squeezing or releasing the spring. This clip is typically attached to the end of a wire and allows for quick connection of jumper wires or test leads. Other uses can include third hands and moveable grippers.

This specific alligator clip is high quality and well put together. The clip can be crimped or soldered to the end of wires to create your own custom alligator cables. The clip will accept up to 16AWG wire (or 14AWG if you want to fight with it). The jaw opens to just over 0.25” / 7mm and has a strong spring – they should grip quite well. Each clip is sold individually.
