Description
This flexible plastic shaft was probably originally intended for cordless drills and impact drivers – but it can be used in many other ways! The shaft is encased in a formable plastic housing and will hold its shape when released. Inside a flexible drive mechanism allows your drive shaft to follow the shape of the housing. The drive is a male hexagonal 0.250” / 6.35mm shaft on one end with a female hexagonal 0.250” / 6.35mm socket. The outer diameter of the female end will fit a 10mm shaft coupler, while the male end can be made to fit a 0.250” coupler with very little work.
While it can be bent into a fairly tight radius, please keep in mind that the resistance on the shaft increases as the radius decreases.
