Description
This solenoid is ideally suited for a door or cabinet lock. The large metal slug is sprung and forced outwards when the solenoid is off and requires power to slide in. The slug itself has a sloped face, allowing a door to close and lock, but not open without powering the solenoid. The slug can be removed and rotated in 90 degree increments with the removal of a couple Phillips screws.
The solenoid has 222.25mm / 8.75” wires terminated with a JST-XH connector. If you are looking for the mating connector, we have the JST-XH Header available as well.
Keep in mind: This will require a fairly decent 9 – 12VDC power supply as this solenoid will draw up to 650mA.
