Description

Lead screws (also known as power screws) are used as a way to convert a rotational movement from something like a DC Motor or Stepper Motor to linear movement. This method of positioning is found in everything from DVD drives and CNC machines to simple automotive screw jacks. The lead screw is paired with a machined nut – as the screw is turned each direction the nut will slide up and down the lead screw.

This specific lead screw is made from stainless steel and measures 250mm in length. The diameter is 3mm with an M3 thread – perfect for standard M3 hardware.
