Description
The MP3-TF-16P MP3 player is a compact and inexpensive MP3 module with an integrated amplifier. The breakout board is an excellent starting point for a mini music player or an interactive project requiring audio. In its most basic configuration, it can be directly connected to a speaker, battery pack, and keypad to produce an audio playback device. Additionally, a microcontroller with a serial port can be used to gain a much higher level of control, with the ability to have 100 folders and 255 audio tracks per folder.
The board has a hardware MP3 decoder and supports sampling rates of 8, 11.025, 12, 16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1, and 48KHz. These are pulled from the integrated microSD slot, and cards of up to 32GB in size. The onboard amplifier supports 30 levels of volume adjustment and speakers up to 3W. Additionally, this module has USB support, which can be used to manage audio files on your device.
