Description
A slip ring is remarkably simple electromechanical assembly that allows electronic signals to be passed through its rotating innards. These can be commonly found in wind turbines, radar antennae, or anything else that requires continuous 360° rotation while maintaining an electrical connection. This particular slip ring has 6 conductors and provides you with a compact body. The conductive ring adopts a 90 degree V-groove design, which has smooth rotation, low torque, and low electrical noise.
Each Slip Ring is capable of handling a continuous working speed of 250RPM, a current rating of 2A per channel, and a massive operating voltage of up to 220V. We aren’t kidding about how compact this little guy is, with only and outer diameter of 12.4mm for the body an 24mm diameter flange, you should have no issues fitting these into your next project. Additionally, the 200mm wires protruding from each side of the slip ring are color coded while the whole assembly has a water protection rating of IP54 meaning it can handle dusty environments and splashing water.
