Make your own USB micro charging cable with this specialty DIY USB micro connector. Each connector comes with a two-part plastic shell and a proper connector with solder tabs for the two power pins in the USB connector. These do not have contacts for the data lines, and instead give you two large contacts for power and that’s it. They will not work if you need data connectivity. The shell has two pieces that snap together over the metal USB connector.
