Description
When working with many of the smaller microcontrollers and specialized controllers, they do not often include a USB interface. These cables are specifically designed to convert TTL Serial data to USB Serial and vice versa. The cable uses a genuine FT232RL USB/Serial chip and allows Arduino, ESP8266, Xbees, and other TTL Serial devices to be programed or connected from a standard USB port.
This cable is compatible with 3.3 and 5V controllers; data signals are 3V while the power line provides 5V power. The indicator LEDs are now visible within the cable housing to show when the cable is working – very useful when debugging!
