Description
A vibration sensor is a simple, low cost, way to detect vibration or tilt in a specific direction. They are not sophisticated enough to tell you the direction of movement – just that there has been some sort of tilting or vibration.
Tilting the sensor or exposing it to higher vibration will cause the metal ball inside to create a connection between the two pins, effectively working like a switch. These are not designed for high voltage or high current and should be kept to 12VDC / 20mA or less.
