XT60 connectors are very popular in the R/C vehicle world. These connectors can carry a massive amount of current for their size and the shape ensures they cannot be plugged in backwards. The connector housing is made from a high-temp nylon and the internal contacts are molded in place to ensure a solid connection. The contacts are gold plated to prevent corrosion and ensure good conductivity.
These XT60 connectors are perfect for applications of 65A continuous current draw. The solder cups on the back of each connector are easy to solder to and have room for heat shrink tubing to slide into the connector; this ensures no exposed conductor. These are sold in pairs of 1 male and 1 female connector.
