The Adafruit LCD shield kit is a great way to incorporate a 16×2 character LCD into your next Arduino project. The shield greatly reduces the number of outputs require to drive the screen and even includes 5 extra buttons using just two pins!
The kit is very easy to assemble making it a great starter kit for those Arduino users just learning to solder. This board is compatible with the Adafruit Metro, SparkFun RedBoard , Arduino Uno, Mega2560, and most other Arduino form-factor microcontrollers.
Please Note: A 16Γ2 Character LCD is not included with this kit β this is designed for those who already have a 16×2 LCD and just need the shield!
