Description
Pan and tilt assemblies allow cameras and other devices to be aimed with relative ease. This specific Pan and tilt kit includes two servos and all of the hardware required to build a basic movable platform for mounting cameras, sensors, and other devices. The platform can rotate ~180 degrees and tilt across ~ 180 degrees meaning a it can scan a fairly large area! Assembly is easy and only requires a screwdriver and some small cutters.
Since the platform uses servo motors, it can be controlled in a variety of methods – from a controller and receiver used for Radio Controlled models to a simple microcontroller capable of outputting two servo signals. The platform is compact and can handle lightweight loads. There are four mounting points on the base and a large area for mounting your sensor or camera.
