Description
One of the challenges when first connecting electronic components to the Raspberry Pi is the GPIO header itself. The Pi GPIO header is not labeled and getting all of those pins to a breadboard can be a bit of a challenge.
The Adafruit Pi T-Cobbler solves this by breaking out all of the pins from the 40 pin header on the Raspberry Pi to a breadboard friendly header. The “T” in the name denotes that the board is T shaped – this design prevents the ribbon cable from covering a substantial portion of the solderless breadboard by moving the cable connector off the end of the board. The T-Cobbler Plus is compatible with the Raspberry Pi A+, B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi 3B+, 4, and all versions of the Pi Zero.
This assembled version of the cobbler requires no soldering and is ready to go out of the package. If you prefer to solder it together yourself, a kit version is also available.
