Prototyping means often having a large assortment of passive components around to tweak and perfect a circuit. Electrolytic Capacitors are one of these components –  these are widely used in  electronic circuits due to their high capacitance values and relatively small size. Their primary applications include filtering and smoothing in power supplies, decoupling to maintain stable voltage for components, coupling in audio and communication circuits to transfer signals, and creating time-delay circuits for timing or oscillation purposes. Additionally, they can be employed for temporary energy storage in devices such as camera flashes.

This kit of 500 Electrolytic capacitors contains 24 different values spanning from 0.1uF to 1000uF , with most commonly used values being included. All of these components are packed inside a nice case, making it easy to pack around and keep track of everything in the kit.
